BEIJING, March 22 (Xinhua) -- Chengdu Rongcheng have agreed a contract extension with their head coach Seo Jung-won, the Chinese Super League (CSL) club announced.
"Mr Seo Jung-won will continue to manage Chengdu Rongcheng in the CSL campaign after extending his contract," the Chengdu club said in a statement on Tuesday.
Under the South Korean's guidance, Chengdu Rongcheng finished fifth in the CSL last season as a newly-promoted team.
"The beautiful, tough and distinctive playing style that Mr Seo Jung-won brought to the team has won wide approval," the Chengdu club said.
